144) As Found WW2 British Home Front Zuckerman Helmet 1941

Description

144) An original wartime Zuckerman helmet as used on the home front. This is in as found condition. it has its original paintwork along with light surface rust and lots of dirt and dust. much of which will clean up if gently cleaned. it has a few bits of sticky tape/ in places. the original string cord is in place holding the original liner. the liner is good just dusty and shows minor edge wear. a good polish would not hurt. it is a size 7 and dated 1941. the inside shell is good and again dated 1941. The chinstrap is of fabric and string and has clearly been on this forever. it is tatty worn and damaged.
