24) An original British Army Issue Parka Middle 1952 Pattern. These were widely used during the Korean war etc. the front is excellent and clean. It has a mixture of different coloured buttons; all are the correct era but look to have been replaced. One button is broken and a few are A little loose. The arms are good but do show wear to the main seam from use (see photos) this is not too bad and all is good and strong. the rear is mostly excellent but does have a hole to the lower tail. This looks to have had sticky tape over it at some point which has left a mark around it. the rest is good. The inside lining is good with minor areas of loss to the fur. Both labels are in place and marked with a soldier’s name. it is dated 1953. For sizes see photos of the label. The internal crotch strap is in place just missing one attachment button. The zip works smoothly.
