Description
31) An original 1942 dated white kit bag in good used condition. This has what looks to be a wartime service number stencilled to the rear and then seems to have been re-issue to a National Service man as the service number inside has the “22” prefix as given to men on National Service. It is a little dirty and shows wear to the edge of the base (see photos). it has a hand drawn badge of flaming grenade with thistle to the centre along with 2 titles/scrolls which are now unreadable. There is also the number 55. This may be the Royal Scots Fusiliers although we are not totally sure?.
