36) Original WW2 British Military Pith Helmet, Sun Helmet Dated 1941

Description

36) A good original WW2 British military issue sun helmet. the outside is good and has been coated in a white waterproof type coating, this is military done and done long ago. it shows some dirt and wear but mostly pretty good. It is just slightly out of shape but nothing much and all is in good solid condition with no soft spots or damage. The inside green baize type material is good with minor dirt and marks. the leather sweat band is excellent and has its original label which shows it as a size 6 ¾ and dates it to 1941. The chinstrap has long since gone but the brass bails/hooks are there ready for another to be attached.
