6) A good pair of WW2 British army issue 1940 pattern Battledress trousers. The trousers are mostly excellent and clean but do show several large moth holes to the crotch/upper inside leg area all of which is shown in the photos and all could be patched. It also has various tiny insignificant moth holes which do not stand out and could easily be invisibly mended with a few threads sewn to them (see photos) the rest is in excellent order with a few minor dirt marks and some surface wear to the knap of the material to the lower buttock area. The original label has long since gone. the waist band is marked as a size 10 along with the WD inspectors letter date code of “O” which accurately dates them to 1942.
Measurements are waist 32 inches, inside leg 31 inches, total length waist to ankle 45 inches.
