65) An interesting large round plaque showing the bust of King George the Sixth to the front and a cartouche to the rear reading ”Part of The Proceeds From The Sale of This Plaque Are Devoted to The British Legion Benevolent Fund” it then has a London maker which is hard to read (see photos). it looks to be in pretty good order to the front but dirty with age, it has some cracking which goes right through front to back but all still feels firmly together, some of the high points to his head show minor chips. The rear is good, it shows some minor edge chips and cracks which show, it looks to have had more silver paint added long ago? The hanging hook is in place and good. It is made of some type of hard black composite material. It measures 9 ¼ inches across.
