68) A nice post war 1949 pattern battledress jacket with original period applied insignia. The jacket is interesting in that it has been privately tailored and has quite An impressive look from the rear. it is in excellent order, there are a few minor moth holes all to the edge of the shoulder seem near the insignia and none are bad (see photos) the original insignia is in place and in good order. the stitching has come away in a couple of places but they are still firmly fixed in place. the inside is mostly nice with just minor dirt marks to the waist band. It is a marked as a size 5 but having been tailored measurements will differ to that of the label. It is dated 1954.
Measurements are shoulder to shoulder 16 inches, shoulder to cuff 24 inches, armpit to armpit 18 inches, total length collar to hem 20 inches, waist 32 inches.
