7) A good matching jacket and trousers named to a “Major W. Blakey” of the Duke of Wellingtons West Riding Regiment. Both have the same makers labels with 1965 date. Going by the medal ribbons he was clearly long serving being a WW2 veteran and later Korean war. The jacket is excellent and clean with just one moth graze to the left lapel (see photos) and a couple of pin head size holes. it is complete with all original stay bright buttons, rank crowns. The collar dogs look to be unmarked silver. The lanyard is excellent. The jump wings are in good order and are WW2 pattern with horizontal thread to the wings. The waist belt is with this but quite moth eaten. (all moth is long since dead).
The trousers are mostly good and clean. They have a moth nip to the inside leg/crotch area (see photos) and a couple of dirt marks.
Jacket measurements are shoulder to shoulder 18 inches, shoulder to cuff 24 inches, armpit to armpit 19 inches, total length collar to hem 35 inches down the back.
Trouser measurements are Waist 32 inches, inside leg 30 inches, total length waist to ancle 43 inches.
