98) An interesting original uniform jacket, shirt and hat to a member of the Girls Venture corps. The GVC was formed in 1964 and this uniform seems to be from the early days of its formation. The jacket and skirt are WRAF No1 dress both being dated 1955 and both named “756 Budden”. The jacket main body front and back are mostly excellent but for 2 moth holes for the left shoulder. All original GTV buttons are in place as are the “GVC Air Wing” cloth shoulder titles and sleeve rank to unit leader. The right cuff shows a spattering of moth holes front and back (see photos) all could be darned. The rest is excellent. It is a size 8. for sizes see the internal label. The skirt is again a size 8. The front is mostly excellent but for a few tiny moth nips to one edge. The rear is good but shows a spattering of moth nips to the lower middle. these can again be darned. The side button and zip work well. The side cap is good with minor dirt from use to the lighter blue top. It has a couple of small moth holes hidden inside the top fold. The original GVC badge is excellent. Inside is in nice order and marked as a size 6 3/4. A nice group all to one girl.
