Large Section of RAF Hurricane Polygonal Spar Cap

Description

An original piece from a crashed Hurricane, sadly all information as to which aircraft and where it crashed has been lost in time. This is a large piece of Polygonal Spar Cap of the aircraft for more info see this link and scroll down, these exact parts can be seen

Artifacts

It is bent up from the crash but is in good solid order with remnants of original paintwork so must have been picked up/dug up not all that long after it crashed. It is of 2 layers of steel and measures 16 inches in length and is of around 3 inches wide. This came with other Hurricane wreckage parts also on the website and believed to have all been from the same aircraft.
