No3 An interesting inter-war period US army jacket, this is the M-1926 pattern jacket which is fully lined, the label on this is good and clear and dates it to 1934. The jacket is in good un-damaged condition, the material is a little stiff with age but good and strong, it shows a few minor dirt marks in places but mostly pretty clean, all original brass buttons are in place and excellent but have been moved out at some point to make it a little smaller and one is loose, these can easily be moved back and look to have been originally pushed through the material and held on with split rings, the internal lining is mostly perfect but shows wear to the inside around the shoulders etc, the collar shows wear from use. a pretty good example considering that it is almost 80 years old!!
Measurements are Shoulder-to-shoulder 18 inches, Shoulder-to-cuff 24 ½ inches, Armpit-to-armpit 21 inches (if the buttons are moved back to their original place this will give an extra ½ inch so 21 ½ ), total length collar to hem 32 ½ inches.
