An unusual WW2 item which is one of a few that belonged to a British officer in the RIASC and IAOC during WW2, these came with his kit and are marked with his initials C.E.R. (C.E.Rawlings) the look to be a Ghandi type loincloth, quite unusual for a British officer to have had these? They are in excellent clean condition and complete with all ties etc, the main waist length not including the long ties is 30 inches, total length of the long cloth 64 inches. Mot totally sure how this would be worn but wouldn’t be difficult to work out. These came with other wartime KD & JG items on the website which all belonged to the same man.
