Description

An original 1939 dated  sandfly net for use on the standard rectangular military bed, as issued to the RAF & army in the deserts of North Africa, the photos show the net hanging flat but obviously it is rectangular and single bed size, it is a sealed pattern item with RAF label and is in excellent condition with minor dirt and marks. the AM markings are a little faint but clearly dated 1939. the sealed pattern label is dated 1940 and in good order and has issue dates for 1943 and early post war.
